Jasmin has over 10 years of proven experience working in international cooperation and development sector, and in her role as advisor and implementation responsible at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has successfully managed projects and funds, including co-financing from external development partners (e.g. DFID). She worked and led teams in culturally diverse countries on longer term assignments in South Africa, Pakistan and most recently in South-eastern Turkey. She studied International Economics (M.A.) at the University of Göttingen and at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. In 2006, Jasmin volunteered at the streetfootballworld festival in Berlin as a team guide of the Afghanistan team, when she first became convinced by the effectiveness of the "Sport-for-Development" approach.
